Worthy of restoration, this 3/1 rod needs new varnish, most of the wraps are intact and can be saved. The cork is soiled but sound. The reel seat is full nickel silver with the patent date "June 1913" stamped at the top. It has 2 serrated raised rails which help lock the special down-sliding band into place over the reel foot. It is made for an extension handle which is missing. As was common to high end Thomas rods, this one has a genuine agate stripper. All sections are full length and the mid and tip have mild fishing sets. It comes with a modern cloth bag.
