Vintage Orvis Rod Set

This two rod set includes a 6 1/2' Orvis Rocky Mountain pack rod. This impregnated 3/2 rod is in very good condition, with translucent brown wraps over bronze steel guides, blued ferrules, and a screw down-locking reel seat with walnut spacer. The cork handle is mildly soiled but sound. All sections are straight and full length - each marked with serial #19606. The ferrules seat fully. Complete with original olive bag and leather case. And a 6 1/2' Orvis Rocky Mountain impregnated spinning rod, 3/1 format with similar brown wraps, chrome guides, bright ferrules, and 2 aluminum sliding bands to anchor the reel to the handle (mildly soiled from use). Each section is marked with serial #19207 and is straight and full. The ferrules seat fully and are nice and tight. The olive bag and leather tube are original with just a little damage to the strap on the cap and one metal buckle is missing. Both come in a beautiful mahogany case, lined with green felt, complimented with brass fittings. Nice condition with a few scratches and minor dings.
