According to a letter of provenance (included), this was a custom rod made by Heddon, using blanks of the quality found on model #1000 rods. It is a 3/2 rod in fair original condition. It has red wraps, Japanned ferrules, a mild Well's grip, and Heddon's patented screw down-locking reel seat with black plastic body. There is a genuine red agate stripper. The varnish is starting to soften and shows bag marks. All sections are full length and straight, except for one tip having a left hand curve. The only markings are the owner's name: Phillip Stahl inked on the butt section. The ferrules are snug but need cleaning. With a Heddon bag with paper tag and no tube.
