10' A.W. Gamage Fly Rod

This 3/2 London-made rod is in good original condition. It has dark red intermediates, bright red wraps at the guides, and brass ferrules and sliding band to anchor the reel. Both tip tops are red agate. The handle and reel seat are one piece of sheet cork with medium soiling which can be cleaned if so desired. The tips have sets and were made 2" shorter than the other sections. They are protected inside a nicely "flamed" bamboo tip tube. The brass butt cap is stamped: "A.W. Gamage, Ltd, London". This nice rod comes with the original labeled canvas carry sack with leather accents.
