Don "Doc" Shoffstall contributed illustrations to several books, including a limited edition of The Woodcock in 1977. Straying from illustration art, Shoffstall produced this 21 1/2" x 14 1/2" fishing scene, which has been professionally matted in a 30 1/2" x 23 1/2" wood frame. Tranquil watercolor is titled Pyramid Pool, for a favorite section of the Brodhead River in Henryville, Pennsylvania. In excellent condition with artist's signature on the lower right.
