Pen and ink drawing, signed by the artist, with captions "The Call of the Rod" and "Confound your interruptions - can't you see I'm trying to work". Well done caricature looks to be early 1900's, in excellent condition in original 17" x 14 1/2" frame with light silvering to the ink, also a few spots of staining and age discoloration to the matte.
