Well executed leaping bass with water lilies and hanging vegetation dominated by rich green hues, signed in the lower right FBower. Painting measures 20" x 16" and comes housed in a gold finish 24 1/2" x 20 1/2" frame. Frame appears to date from the same late 1800's to early 1900's time period as the artwork and may be original. In overall excellent condition, but could use a cleaning, which would bring out the strong deep colors.
