Includes 16 hooks sewn on original cards, all mint condition, sizes 10/0 and 8/0. Pflueger used Zane Grey's fishing records in advertising in the 1920, including using his likeness on the back of their 1926 catalog. Throughout the remainder of his life, Pflueger gifted Grey hooks and other needed tackle for his fishing adventures. These sizes were often used by Grey. Outside box label is hand written listing 8/0 and 10/0 Sobey hooks. This and all items included in this historic find come with a letter of provenance stating these baits came directly from Zane Grey's personal steamer trunk #44, which accompanied him on his 1939 trip to Australia.
