Lot includes five unused spools, still strung together with line. In good to excellent condition, with label wear most likely from movement within the trunk over the decades. And a boxed 500yd unused spool in new condition, correct box is in about good condition with staining and wear. Also, a 1938 Sportsman's Guide Tide Table from the Los Angeles outer harbor, found within the spool box. This and all items included in this historic find come with a letter of provenance stating this bait came directly from Zane Grey's personal steamer trunk #44, which accompanied him on his 1939 trip to Australia.
