Patented August 31, 1909 by Krantz & Smith of Jamestown, NY, measuring 3 5/8" with an overall length of 5 1/2", original box swivel, with a wonderful scale finished silver body, and detailed tail and head. This incredible uncleaned bait with great old patina, grades a strong Ex- condition, with the exception of the missing red thread wraps on the spring loaded hooks and the red eye paint. Early and important, and considered by most serious collectors to be one of the top 10 greatest fishing lures of all time.
