Lacquerware Game Box and Tray, China, 19th century, a chamfered rectangular gilt lacquered game box with lift-off cover and carved paw feet, containing seven covered compartments, and fourteen small trays painted with playing card figures; an oblong gilt-decorated lacquered tray, (two feet loose, cracks to lacquer), box ht. 4 7/8, wd. 15, dp. 12, tray 11 1/2 x 14 1/2 in.
