Two Boxed Compasses and Two Carved Wooden Compasse

Two Boxed Compasses and Two Carved Wooden Compasses, early 19th century, one round in a brass case, labeled "J. KEHEW NEW BEDFORD," one brass gimbaled in a slide-lid wooden box labeled "E. & G.W. BLUNT NEW YORK," the other two compasses hand-carved, (imperfections), ht. 2, 4 1/2, dia. 5, 9 1/2; lg. 11 1/2, 20 3/4 in., respectively.

Condition: The twocarved are damaged, the dial in the brass case is a little askew.
