Portrait of a Gentleman Holding a Red Book. Unsigned, the reverse of the canvas bears a stenciled canvas preparer's label from a Boston firm. Oil on canvas, 30 x 24 in., in a period rippled-gesso frame with gilt liner. Condition: Very good, several small superfluous paint drips.

Condition: Approx. 30 small paint drips/specks.
