Important early pulegoso glass cup, 1928
With applied blue glass handles and rim. 6 3/4 in. (17.1 cm.) high, 12 3/8 in. (31.4 cm.) diameter. Produced by Venini, Italy. Underside acid-etched with "venezia murano/Italia" and surmounted with CVM crown. Together with a certificate of authenticity from Venini. The firm offered glassware produced by prestigious European makers including Gallé, Daum, and Venini.
