A lovely limestone relief of two ladies, New Kingdom, c.1570 - 1075 BC. Each lady faces to the right and wears a long wigs and plaited gowns, right hand held aloft in adoration. Traces of paint and gesso in the crevices and good age deposits throughout. 11 ¾" x 8 ¼" (29.8 cm) x 21 cm). A lovely relief with excellent style. Ex Negus collection, UK, early 20th century.
