Egyptian limestone head from a funerary statue

A detailed limestone head from a funerary statue wearing a Nubian wig and with very slanted eyes. Style resembles sculpture from the reign of Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty, c.1386 - 1349 BC. Some damage to nose and mouth, but quite charming and mounted to a tall wooden base. Height of head: 1 ¾" (4.5 cm), with stand: 6 1/8" (15.5 cm). See Metropolitan Museum of Art acc.
