A limestone shrine containing a nude female, Late Period, c.664 - 343 BC. This interesting piece is well carved with nice facial and body detail. The edges of the piece have much wear from handling, perhaps this serving some sort of amuletic purpose. Traces of red paint still visible on the shrine. 6 ¾" x 3 ¾" (17.2 x9.7cm). Ex Orange county collection.
