Bronze figure of kneeling Isis, Late Period, c.664 - 343 BC. The goddess is represented kneeling, hands resting just above her knees, wearing a headdress ringed with the heads of uraeii (cobras). Weathered with this encrustation and losses to the legs and the top of the headdress. Still quite attractive! H: 5 1/8" (13.5 cm). Ex English collection.
