A stone amulet of the 'ib', Late Period, c.664 - 30 BC. A nice stone amulet of the heart amulet or 'ib'. Finely carved with good detail with traces of bitumen on the surfaces. From upper Egypt. L: 1 ¼" (3.2 cm). Ex collection of Albert F. Pagnon, Luxor, acquired in the 1860's.
