A pair of amulets, a papyrus pillar and a counterpoise, Late Period, c.664 - 30 BC. From Upper Egypt. Both carved from a light volcanic stone with nice form and detail. Lengths 1 1/8" (2.8 cm) & 5/16" (2.1 cm). Ex collection of Albert F. Pagnon, Luxor, acquired in the 1860's.
