A well carved light blue steatite scarab, 2nd Intermediate Period, c.1650 - 1549 BC. Levantine. Nicely carved head and deeply feather legs. On base, kilted male figure holding a palm frond. 21x14mm. Ex Negus collection, UK, early 20th century.
