A steatite plaque with a cartouche of Pharaoh Thutmose III, New Kingdom, c.1479 - 1075 BC. The god Anubis kneels and pays homage to the cartouche with a crocodile below. The top of the plaque has symmetric signs (kheper, maat and re) within a roped border. 16x13mm. Some chipping but a nice piece. Ex Negus Collection, UK, early 20th century.
