A beautiful glass inlay of a male face, Late Period, c.664 - 343 BC, of bright red color and excellent workmanship. The eye is open for additional inlaid color and the piece what have been inset into a pendant, pectoral, box or similar items. 1 ½" x 1 ¼" (39 x30mm). Red glass is rarely preserved this nice! Ex German collection.
