A nice rectangular linen textile panel with four crosses, Roman Egypt, c.4th - 6th century AD. The crosses are at each end of two rows containing a swirl motif with rosettes. 10" (25.5 cm) x 4" (10.3 cm). A few areas of loss, but a very attractive piece mounted in a custom frame. Ex German collection.
