Lot of 2 decorated textile panels, Roman Egypt

A pair of decorated textile panels, Roman Egypt, c.4th - 7th century AD. The first is a rectangular piece of wool and linen depicting a puppy crouching within a medallion, a checkerboard pattern around, 4 1/8" x 3 ½"; The second panel is square and of wool and linen. It depicts a seated woman holding a child in her arms, a basket with fruit beside her. Nice red color with green and yellow within the triangles at each corner, 3 1/8" x 3 ¼". Both are nice examples and framed together. Ex German collection.
