Lot of 2 seals. Syria, Neo-Assyrian, Sasanian

Lot of 2 pieces. 1). Syria, 2nd Millenium BC. Black steatite rectangular stamp seal with stylized animals, chipped. 34 x 22mm. cf. Von der Osten, Collection of Hans von Aulock, p. 91, no. 53.; 2). Neo-Assyrian, 8th - 7th Century BC. Carnelian oval stamp seal with star, crescent and pellets on base. Some light chipping. W: 13mm; 3). Sasanian, 4th - 6th Century AD. An attractive gray banded agate domed stamp seal, on base a winged horse to lt., foreleg raised. Intact. W:15mm. Cf. Gignoux 40.21 for type. Ex. early 20th Century English collection.
