Lot of 2 Syrian pieces, seal and scaraboid

Lot of 2 seals. 1). Syria, 1st Millenium BC. Black steatite multi-sided stamp seal depicting stylized standing figures, L: 15mm; 2). Northern Syria, c.8th - 7th Century BC. A nice steatite scaraboid with angled edges. Pierced vertically for suspension. On base, a standing stag, symbol or letter above. 15x13x8mm. See Keel-Leu, Vorderasiatische Stempelsiegel, Univ. Freiburg, p.119, 139 for a very similar example. Ex. old English collection, early 20th century.
