An attractive Indus Valley bowl from the Nal Culture of Baluchistan, c.2800 - 2500 BC, with thin walls beautiful brown paint pattern around the midsection and a brown stripe on the inside of the rim. Intact with some earthen encrustation. H: 3 ¼" (7 cm); Diameter 5" (13.1 cm). A beautiful high fire pottery type that attains thin proportions and elegant forms. Ex Los Angeles collection.
