A large Huari kero-form vessel from Peru, c. AD 650 - 800. This lovely Huara-style polychrome beaker is decorated with a pair of stylized birds, executed in red, white and black, against the bright orange slip. H: 5 ¾"; Diameter 7". Overall in excellent condition, with nice mineral deposits and a stabilized hairline stress crack. Very unusual to find examples this large. Ex Panchenko collection, Fort Lauderdale.
