A Valdivian carved limestone abstract figure, Ecuador, c.2300 - 2000 BC. This light grayish-green limestone "idol" is tabular in form, depicted with large incised eyes with raised pupils. H: 8 5/8" (22 cm). Intact with strong mineral deposits on the surface. Ex Ventura County collection.
