Nice wooden male santos figure, mid 19th century

A nice wooden male santos figure, mid 19th century, wearing a long coat and belt with long hair and boots. Red and yellow pigment visible under black sooty deposits. Body carved from a single piece of wood and the arms, with hands missing, attached to be moveable. Some age cracks but an attractive example. H: 10 5/8" (27.3 cm). Mounted on base. Ex old Hollywood estate.
