The work of art is in good condition. Stamped ''336-NY Central RR Lewis Hines, Interpretive, Photographer Hastings-on-Hudson'' on verso. "Old-time freight / brakeman N.Y. Central / 336" written in pencil on verso. The image has been printed so that you can see the negative borders. Various fingerprints and dust are part of the image as it was printed from this negative. Minor surface accretions (possibly spotting). Slight losses to the emulsion at the corners and the edges.
