The work of art is in very good condition. On a wood base that is 4-3/8" high (sculpture and base together are 12" high). Modeled patina with notes of black, brown and green. Slight rubbing apparent on the nose and ears. The two books are: ''Heads and Tales'' by Malvina Hoffman/Bonanza Books, N.Y. Copyright 1936 by M. Hoffman; ''Sculpture Inside and Out'' by Malvina Hoffman/Bonanza Books, N.Y. Copyright 1939 by M. Hoffman.
