The two works of art are in fair condition. Untitled (Study 219): Signed ''L. Scott Bower'' lower left recto, in pencil ''study 219'' on verso. Surface dirt, crackle in isolated areas, 4 small pin holes through canvas, 1/4'' area where canvas is worn through and a 1 1/4'' x 1 1/4'' tear lower left quadrant. Untitled: Signed ''L. Scott Bower'' lower right recto. Surface dirt, cracks in isolated areas, canvas is loose on stretchers, 1'' x 1/4'' tear upper left quadrant, 1'' tear center, several areas of paint loss upper left quadrant.
