Chaim Gross (American, 1904-1991) Performer in a Diamond (cast in 1969); Bronze; Inscribed with artist's monogram; 144'' x 76'' x 25''; Provenance: The Philip and Muriel Berman Collection, Allentown, PA; Private Collection, Pennsylvania

The work of art is in excellent condition. Inscribed "CHAIM GROSS SC" along left side of bronze base. Accompanied by flagstone base. Light oxidation in the crevices (especially in bronze base). Sculpture has been displayed outdoors. Around perimeter of bronze base there is plaster residue that rises 1/2" inch from the bottom edge which may be from previous installation conditions (it appears that this residue could be removed).
