WW I U. S. MILITARY BOLO KNIVES, C1918, 5 PCS, L 10" & 14" BLADES:including three Plumb, Phila. Pa, 1918 (one without sheath) stamped "U.S. Mod 1917 Plumb Phila. 1918" the other with a cloth olive drab clad wood sheath stamped "U.S. Mod 1917 Plumb, Phila. 1918"; and one stamped Plumb, Phila. Pa. 1911 with a scabbard catch; the third is a relatively rare variant of the Model 1917 stamped with CT under the 1917 date, with A.C. Co. Chicago 1918 mfg. stamp and a metal olive painted sheath with leather belt strap; the fourth is a Model 1909 bolo with a 14" blade and stamped "U.S. 41247 Plumb, Phila. 1917" with the U.S. Ordinance flaming cannon ball, riveted wood handle; leather sheath with brass throat and belt strap;

all show wear due to use; model 1918 without sheath missing eagle head pommel; dent to end of metal painted sheath, GA.
