MINTONS MAJOLICA TORTOISE TEAPOT, 1876, H 5", L 8":In the form of a walking tortoise with its open mouth as the spout and elongated tail as the handle, the cover centered by a shell and seaweed finial, with glazed pink interior; impressed "MINTONS" at the underside with date cipher for 1876 and raised diamond registration mark.
