TEA & COFFEE SET, SIX PIECES, C. 1862-77:A silverplate set including 1 teapot, H.7 3/4", 1 hot water pot, H.7" (two small dents at one side), 1 coffee pot, H.10 1/2" (an indentation at one side above engraved name), 1 creamer, 1 covered sugar bowl (small dent at one side), and 1 waste bowl; each piece of globular shape with a palmette and scroll motif about the shoulder, engraved "Carpenter" at one side, and raised on four lion mask-and-paw feet; stamped "Rogers, Smith & Co., New Haven, Conn., 2000/5".
