"This is a 100% virgin wool rug designed by famed interior designer Steven Chase and custom loomed by Edward Fields New York in 1983 for a major Palm Springs Estate. The current owner represents that the rug cost the client $50,000 in 1984 Dollars when it was installed in a major Palm Springs estate. It appears as new, with virtually no foot traffic wear at all so it must have been put down in a room seldom used."
