Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #2331 Virginian FM Diesel with Dual Motors, Magnetraction and Horn that Lionel made circa 1955. This model was earliest production and is one of the more difficult Virginian Variations; painted both Black and Yellow on a Gray Body. Our Opinion is that it is generally in Very Good Plus Condition, weak lettering and a screwhole crack. The Original Box is in (7) Condition, missing some flaps on one end and with some tape.
