(DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE) LEONI, NESTORE
A Declaration by the Representatives of the United States of America In Congress Assembly. George D. Sproul, 1901. A group of two panels illuminated by Nestore Leoni with the text of the Declaration of Independence executed in gothic type in black and red, enclosed in elaborate borders with miniature portraits and scenes, both signed by Leoni. Framed. Small chips to margins, with loss at upper edge of page 1; minor soiling to edges; small tear affecting signature on page 1; two one inch tears to bottom of page 2; otherwise colors are very bright.
Size of sheets 31 x 23 inches.
