Pirates of Penzance. London: Chappell, n.d. (c. 1880). Bound together with H. M. S. Pinafore, Arranged For the Piano-Forte by H. Maylath, (Boston: Diston, 1879), and H. M. S. Pinafore, (Boston: Ditson, n.d.). 4to, quarter green leather. An early edition of musical scores by Gilbert and Sullivan, with what appears to be a blue stamped signature of Albert Sullivan to the title page, smudged. Together with five other titles, including Treatise on the Construction, the History and the Practice of the Flute, by R. S. Rockstro (London, 1928), Story of Organ Music, by C. F. A. Williams (London, 1905), Romance of a Great Singer: a Memoir of Mario, by Pearse and Hird (London, 1910), Instruments de musique a travers des ages, by Alexander Buchner (Prague, 1962) and the english edition of the same title (London, 1964).
