Ampere, Andre Marie (1775-1836), Autograph letter signed, August 16, 1810, three pages, in French, to Mon. Roux-bordier de Moleron, inviting him to join him on an interesting sight-seeing trip, text in part, "I am going to leave the highway in Tournon and will go to Lyon by Annonay, St.Etienne and St. Chamond...seeing the paper mills in Annonay where the hydrolic ram was discovered...," with more details about the trip, 4to, (some toning along creasing and a dime-sized hole in center middle fold, not affecting text, scattered typical minor defects).
