Gauss, Karl Frederick (1777-1855), Two articles: first, autograph letter signed, October 21, 1850, one page, in German, to Professor Weber; second; signed and inscribed bookseller's receipt from the Dietrichschen Bookstore & Publishers used to accompany a volume of Jahn's General Index to the Astronomical News, 8vo, (first with paper loss to right edge and scattered spotting; second with very light toning, else very good to excellent).
