Morton, William Thomas (1819-1868), Autograph letter signed, August, 184, one page, to his lawyer, Mr. Poor, asking him to visit and prepare a document for him, with signed holograph postscript, (left margin shaved from top to bottom, affecting a few letters).

Note: Morton is most famous for his invention and implementation of sulfuric ether as a means of anesthesia.
