ANTIQUE JAPANESE MUROMACHI PERIOD NAGAMAKI Rare Antique Muromachi period, 1392-1573, C.1394. Japanese Samurai nagamaki signed, “Shigetsugu Saku”. Yamashiro blade. Length 73cm, nagasa 42cm, blade width 33mm, blade thickness 6.5mm. Koshi-bi both sides of the blade. Spectacular hamon. Two piece Bronz habaki. Tsuba is thickly coated with shakudo. Two bronze seppa. Saya is richly coated in black lacquer and in excellent condition. Blade is superb. Overall excellent original condition. EST. $2000 - 4000
