A PERSIAN LACQUER PEN CASE (kalamdan), 19th century, variously decorated with a band of equestrians and figural scenes. Pasteboard, paint, gold and varnish. The Qalamdan contains a small silver inkwell with a star shaped hallmark. Height 1 1/4", length 8", width 1 1/2"
