JIMMIE FOXX AUTOGRAPHED BASEBALL WITH DOCUMENT Jimmie Foxx (1907-1967) single signed baseball in plastic display cube. Jimmie Foxx played in Philly, Boston and Chicago between 1925 and 1945. He was inducted into the HOF in 1951. It is said that Tom Hank's character in "A league of their own" was loosely based on Foxx's post MLB coaching days. In 1999 he was ranked #15 in "The sporting news 100 greatest baseball players and was a nominee for the MLB "All century team". Also included is an examination document from a forensic document examiner dated 2006 stating that his opinion is that the signature is authentic. The document bears a seal and a photo of this ball. This is a great piece of Baseball history! EST. $3000 - 5000
