SILVER GEORGE II QUAKER INDIAN PEACE MEDAL George II Indian Peace medal of 43mm. in silver. The bust of George II and "Georgius II Dei Gratia" to the obverse, with a Quaker figure on the reverse, offering a peace pipe to an Indian. Date of 1757. and the wording 'Let us look to the most high who blessed our fathers with peace," to the reverse. Some wear and a small edge chip above the bust. This is a U.S. Mint striking, and given by Quakers in silver to nearby Indian Chiefs. EST. $ -
