illuminated manuscript on vellum. (165 x 135 mm). 25 lines written in dark brown ink in a gothic bookhand, rubrics in red. A full page illuminated border repeats on the verso, made up of two finely rendered cherubs and richly colored flowers, grape clusters and colored acanthus leaves of predominantly blue, pink, green and reddish-orange colors, all on a brushed gold ground, 3 three-line initials in liquid gold on a reddish-brown ground. In modern paper folder. Condition: some small areas rubbed with minimal loss of surface paint or gilt; otherwise sparkling and fresh gilt and paint decoration.
